Today I completed my first day on my own meal plan. It’s been a while since I’ve followed an eating schedule and it was quite a relief. Not having to think about what I’m going to eat takes a huge weight off of my shoulders. I ate everything I had planned to eat. No more, no less (Oh! Except the barbecue sauce I ate with my dinner). Here are photos of lunch, dinner and my post workout/dessert Orange Cream protein shake.

I also attempted a workout tonight. I don't get many steps in while I'm working so when I left my apartment to head to the gym I was at 5K steps. Within 45 minutes I had surpassed my goal of 10K. I went to the gym that we have at our apartments. For some odd reason, both treadmills were not working. I did the elliptical for 10 minutes and then I got bored. I decided to head out and jog a little outside. It was 91 degrees out, by the way. And it's APRIL! It's gonna be a long hot summer.
I decided to take pictures of myself this evening to document my progress from meal prepping. I do much better when I see results and just in case the scale does not cooperate, photos will be my back-up. So, here they are. Day 1.
