I had not just one, but TWO non-scale victories today! I’ve expressed before that I don’t want to weigh myself anymore because I don’t want a number to determine how I feel. I want to go more off of how I feel and how my clothes fit. Well, my clothes are fitting much better than they were two weeks ago.

For those of you who don't follow me on Instagram (you really should be, by the way), I will share my first non-scale victory again. I bought a dress on clearance at Target about a month ago. You can see the tag is still in place. It didn’t quite fit but the deal was so great I couldn’t pass it up and it’s super cute! I would make it my goal to fit into it. I tried it on again two weeks ago prior to starting the Whole 30 and it still wouldn’t button over my hips (I get it from my mama). I put it on today just for fun and it fit!

Then when I was getting dressed for work I noticed that I could pull my belt a little tighter than last time. I was able to move it two notches and I'm on the last one now!

Right: Before the Whole 30. Left: Today. Day 11 of Whole 30.

The inches I’ve lost aren't the only exciting things going on with my body. I feel amazing. I can’t even really describe it to someone who hasn’t gone through this experience. And I’m not even halfway through. Whole30.com said that days 10 and 11 were going to be the hardest days. I do not relate to that at all. I have so much energy and my face is clear! I have no cravings whatsoever. I discovered a drawer of candy at work today and not one ounce of me was tempted. I am completely satisfied with the whole foods that I am eating. My appetite has completely changed. I am rarely hungry and when I do eat I don’t eat nearly as much as I did before.

For breakfast I made myself a blended iced coffee. Homemade creamer, a banana, pumpkin, cinnamon and of course, coffee. This filled me up for hours!

I ate an apple around 1:15 (even though I wasn’t hungry). I ate lunch at 2:30. My boyfriend bought me a huge bag of pistachios yesterday and I was dying to eat some. For lunch I had pistachios, clementines and a nectarine (not pictured). This would have never been my lunch before. I ended up eating the carrots with my dinner.

For dinner I ate eggs, chicken sausage and leftover carrots from lunch.

I stopped at Trader Joe’s tonight on my way home from work and I picked up this bag of dried pineapple. I tried one and I highly recommend them, friends. They are great.

Day 11 was so good to me. Looking forward to the next 19!
