I woke up at 5:30 this morning and went to the gym. Cardio and weights again for me. I love weights so much more than cardio now. When I met my boyfriend he told me, “I don’t do cardio” and I never understood that. He’s a weights only guy. Now that I’ve fallen in love with weight lifting, I totally understand. Even though I am no longer crazy about cardio, I still have to do it.  



Fresh faced after the gym. I have absolutely no makeup on in this photo and I love that my face looks so clear. Eating real foods has done wonders for my skin. I mentioned yesterday that I had a break out and a couple pimples are still lingering but that doesn't change the way I feel about my face in this photo. A month ago I would have said differently. 

For breakfast I ate an apple and I drank some iced coffee with homemade creamer (made fresh this morning). This was around 8am. I wasn’t hungry again until noon. And a hand full of cashews held me over. Oh, and some iced green tea from Starbucks. 




I went home on my lunch break at 2:30. I cooked one of these Sweet Italian Sausages from Trader Joe's. They are Whole 30 compliant and they are delicious! I ate it with another apple. I didn't end up eating my second apple last night so I had to double up today. 



I wasn’t hungry again until 7:30ish. For dinner I had carnitas with guacamole. So good. My belly is happy and more than satisfied.


21 days done. 9 more to go! Single digits!

I’m sure you are all aware of the fires here in SoCal. When I walked out of work tonight I saw that the sky was filled with smoke. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone affected or involved in fighting them. This was the view outside our apartment.
