Twenty-Two Weeks

How far along? Twenty-two weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby girl is the size of an ear of corn.

Baby's nickname? We have finalized her name but we're not ready to share yet, most likely until we meet her. I actually saw her name while completing my half marathon this weekend and I took that as a sign.

Maternity clothes? Yes and I still love them very much!

Exercise? Well, I walked 13.1 miles so I'm pretty happy about that.

Sleep: Sleep has been awful this week. One night, one of our dogs woke me up at 2:50am and he continued to wake up for the remainder of the night so I wasn't able to fall back to sleep. I ended up having a mini meltdown that morning. I cried hysterically several times. I started panicking when thinking about how I can barely handle it with two dogs. How am I going to make it work with a baby too? My husband calmed me down, surprised me by coming home early from work that day and brought me frozen yogurt.

Best moment this week: Probably walking across the finish line at my half marathon.

Miss anything? Just a good night's sleep.

Movement: I've felt a lot more movement this week, even throughout the day. I know she's moving a lot more at night because I wake up feeling sore from her kicking.

Food cravings: This week I wanted a cupcake because one of the girl's I completed the half marathon with said we could have eaten eleven cupcakes to make up for the calories we burned. Stephen grabbed me mini cupcakes on his way home from work one evening.

Anything making you queasy or sick: No, just extremely sore from all the changes, her kicking and my half marathon.

Gender: GIRL!

Symptoms: Acne, soreness and snoring. My husband is still really worried about that even though I've told him it's completely normal. Also, I'm just feeling more uncomfortable these days. Everything feels so tight in my stomach and chest.

Wedding rings on or off? Still on

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, with the exception of Friday morning {after not sleeping much the night before}.

Looking forward to: Getting the nursery ready and meeting our little one.

Twenty-One Weeks

How far along? Twenty-one weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby girl is the size of a carrot.

Baby's nickname? Baby and baby girl. We're still working on finalizing her name.

Maternity clothes? Yes and I still love them very much!

Exercise? I worked out with my trainer this week. We did a full body workout. One day a week sounds like nothing but I'm always proud I even get that in.

Sleep: I've gotten used to the fact that I won't be able to sleep through the night for a very very long time. I think pregnancy is God's way of getting a mommy prepared for that.

Best moment this week: Seeing baby girl at her anatomy scan and finding out that everything came back normal! Also, we started our registry this weekend. That was fun and exhausting. We didn't even get through half the store. I had to go home and put my feet up after that.

Miss anything? Sleeping through the night.

Movement: Just a little at night. Not as much as before but seeing her at the anatomy scan showed me there's nothing to worry about. She didn't move much the entire time I was there. In fact, she was being awfully stubborn. The ultrasound tech wanted her to flip but she wouldn't. Towards the end of the appointment, she had her head in between her legs. We might have a gymnast on our hands.

Food cravings: Same as always. Soft pretzels and bagels. I did also have a virgin margarita at my parents house.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. I've been feeling pretty good lately.

Gender: GIRL!

Symptoms: Terrible acne and terrible pregnancy brain. I put the coffee in the microwave one day this week. Yep, I poured myself a cup of coffee and instead of putting the cup in the microwave, I put the actual pot in there. Luckily I caught myself before I turned it on. I'm pretty sure nesting has kicked in this week as well. I have been tackling tasks around the house like crazy!

Wedding rings on or off? Still on

Happy or moody most of the time: I've been pretty happy.

Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl. The closer we get to her arrival, the more excited I get!

Twenty Weeks

How far along? Twenty weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby girl is the size of a banana.

Baby's nickname? Baby and baby girl. We're still working on finalizing her name.

Maternity clothes? Yes and I still love them very much!

Exercise? I worked out with my trainer this week. We did a full body workout. One day a week sounds like nothing but I'm always proud I even get that in.

Sleep: Much better than last week! But I'm still waking up often to pee. And now my husband is worried about me because he says I'm snoring and I never used to snore.

Best moment this week: My husband and I were finally able to exchange Christmas gifts and he gave me a few baby related items. I was so excited that he even thought of them! {Photo below}

Miss anything? I'm still having virgin margaritas anytime I can so maybe I'm missing margaritas...

Movement: She has actually stopped moving as much this week but I read that's normal. She's getting bigger and it's getting tighter in there so she can't move around as much.

Food cravings: Nothing crazy yet. I still love soft pretzels and bagels but I don't need them.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope. I've been feeling pretty good lately.

Gender: GIRL!

Symptoms: Terrible acne. What's new? I keep waiting to wake up one morning to flawless skin but that hasn't happened. And like I mentioned before, my husband says I'm snoring, which I'm pretty sure is normal for this point in my pregnancy.

Wedding rings on or off? Still on

Happy or moody most of the time: I've been pretty happy.

Looking forward to: My anatomy scan in a few days. I can't wait to see the baby and make sure everything is okay.

Nineteen Weeks

How far along? Nineteen weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby girl is the size of a mango this week.

Baby's nickname? Baby and baby girl. We were working on finalizing her name and then Stephen heard a name while we were in Washington that he liked so now we're throwing around some other ideas.

Maternity clothes? Yes and I still love them very much!

Exercise? I was able to get in a lot of walking on our trip. I wish I would have brought another pair of shoes besides my boots though. Some tennis shoes would have come in handy.

Sleep: This was the worst week of sleep during my entire pregnancy. The night before we left on our trip we didn't get to sleep until after midnight, which is very unlike us but we were packing and prepping. Our flight left Friday night after 11pm because it was delayed. We didn't get to my brother's apartment in Issaquah, Washington until after 3am. Then on Monday when we came home, our flight didn't leave until after 11pm because it was delayed again. We didn't get back to our house until 4am and I started work at 8am. Oh, and then on Wednesday night my parents flew in and they needed me to pick them up from the airport so I didn't get home until 3am that night. I told Stephen no more traveling and no more late nights for the remainder of my pregnancy. It's not good for me or the baby, I'm sure.

Best moment this week: As exhausting as it was, being in Washington with my family was wonderful. It was Stephen's first time there and I'm really glad we got to get away for Christmas. But we have agreed we will never ever travel during Christmas again.

Miss anything? This week I definitely missed sleep and I missed Vader and Jax while we were in Washington. They were very good boys while we were away.

Movement: Not as much. I'm sure her schedule was off because my schedule was off.

Food cravings: Virgin margaritas. I had a few while we were out in Washington. Tasted more like sparkling lime water but it was good enough.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Gender: GIRL!

Symptoms: I had terrible headaches again this week but I'm sure that was from lack of sleep. My acne calmed down for like a day and then I saw it flare up again. I guess it's just something I need to get used to because it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere. My body was aching after all the walking but I'm sure it was good for me.

Wedding rings on or off? Still on

Happy or moody most of the time: I had some moody moments when I was tired this week but mostly happy.

Looking forward to: Staying home for a while and not traveling! There really is no place like home.

I saw this photo of myself and I was surprised to see my bump!

Baby girl was given her first and extremely thoughtful Christmas gift by her Aunt Erin and Uncle Tyler.

Rose gold Tom's and a handmade beanie to match. I freakin' love these shoes! I can't wait to put them on her!

One of the virgin margaritas I had on our trip.

Eighteen Weeks

How far along? Eighteen weeks and six days

Baby's size? Baby girl is the size of an avocado this week.

Baby's nickname? Baby and baby girl. We still use her name occasionally as well.

Maternity clothes? Yes and I love them!

Exercise? Not as much as I would like.

Sleep: I've been in bed for at least eight hours a night but I don't get eight hours of sleep anymore. Having to get up and pee every two to three hours makes it really hard to sleep straight through.

Best moment this week: Celebrating Christmas with my in-laws. {Photos below}

Miss anything? Sleeping through the night.

Movement: Yes, usually when I lay down to go to sleep she wakes up and starts moving.

Food cravings: I ate a lot of protein pancakes this week. I wouldn't really say I was craving them but they were definitely good!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope, I felt good this week.

Gender: GIRL!

Symptoms: The usual acne and body aches. I ordered tea tree oil and I've been using it on my acne but now it's completely dried out my face and it's super red. Not sure which is worse. I need to stop putting it directly on my skin without a carrier oil but I haven't learned my lesson yet.

Wedding rings on or off? Still on

Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty happy. A little stressed about Christmas but nothing too crazy.

Looking forward to: Spending Christmas with my family in Washington.
